Raining Tears

~*~*~

Lightning strikes the ugly stances!
Glaring rays the veracities-
Singeing Nature: disheveling;
Thunders warning: doomed repercussions.

Pouring, crying; wetting, affecting.
Cleansing, releasing; nurturing, renewal.
Soaking parched heart, Raining- tear drops;
Refreshed nature: springing new hopes!

    I loved how you combined the two ideas into a spectacular image – and darn good choice on the picture choice too!

    You have encapsulated every element of a storm I completely agree with the above. Dramatic writing =)

      Thank you so much.. πŸ™‚
      I only wanted to see if there was indeed any similarity between the nature’s storm and inward turmoil that goes on most often.. xoxox

    Hello Olivia dear,
    Sometimes one needs to cry a waterfall of tears to clear the mind for better thinking. I like the wistful hoping at the end.
    Great imagery as usual.

    Nice one.

    Love the parallels between a rainstorm and healing. “Cleansing, releasing; nurturing, renewal” — love this line!

    “Soaking parched heart” That is great, a parched heart, hard, brittle, shriveled through neglect and hatred then soften by the life giving rain embracing a second chance.

      Exactly.. like how rain treats a parched land; so does our tears when we are broken (apart at times)
      I have closely observed how e are similar to Nature. How the world outside of us is almost like how we are!

      Many hugs xoxox

    Love the optimism of this poem. All the descriptive words express the domination of a storm and then you end on a high. Thanks.
