Phlebotomized Matrimony

The shape poem is Vermilion Box. The Betel Leaves are held by the bride to cover her face. The presentation of the poem is according to the Hindu Bengali Wedding! Red/Sindoor/Kumkum is considered to be the color of wedded women.

This poem is about my afflicted relationship with my ex; how it had become immediately after the wedding!

Very honest and painful poem. Well written, you’ve expressed your feelings very well. It is sad that so many relationships become like that, and the best thing to do is to get out of it fast.
    wonderful honest piece!

      1) For appreciating it

Although it wasn’t fast as how I am usually; I did get out of it.. Thank you again.. xoxoxox

Your choice of words was most moving, Olivia! Game me the jitters, I must say!
Many a relationship has seen and lived in this superficiality… and sometimes, they go on forever!
In an odd sorta way, I am glad you opted out of it soon enough…
Like they say, better late than never! No?

HUGEEEEE A/Ced hugs to you, girl!!!

Thank you my partner in you know “witch” crime..!
indeed only the ones who know a little about it would be able to place it or ones who know me up close.. Infact, after writing the words, they automatically took the shape of a vermilion box! When I read again; it seemed to befit! Hauntingly uncanny.. then again.. the past remnants of that mishap do comes back at times to growl back at times.
Hopefully would be out of the realm soon!

Thank yo again My Dear.. Many more Hugs right back at you.. xoxoxox

No married person I know has ever said marriage is easy. A heavy 55 that packs a punch.
