Gloam

Sunset captured through brandy n cola

~*~*~

Rhythmic glitters
tinkling chime,
calling aloud
the ghosts of time.

Bleeding horizon
streaking blind,
ominous blue
retreating resigned.

Sounds of merry
none to be heard.
Cutting the vacuum
slithers a lizard.

Demonic symbols
of shadows arrive…
Graves speak
coming alive!

Harrowed waters,
bounds trashed;
swallowing beaches
fury unlashed.

A solitary jackal howls at a distance…

Raindrops!

for more raindrops clicks

~*~*~

Gathering pride in streaming down,
Descending dissolute; fountain-fall
directing the dust wandering bewildered,
scattering flights, scooting them homeward…

but just before those trickled to spill,
I caught those young twinkling with glee.
Brilliant white, shone drop-stones;
raindrops, those that didn’t.

Pictured Perfectly

Initial Thought

book-frame stands bedside
with you and me on both sides
stark togetherness.

glasses of our drinks
reflects the merry within
happy together

wonderful times those
blissful episodes of love
invokes countless smiles

tear trickles on frame
stains glass over our faces
cry smudges laughter

forlorn memories
of times of togetherness
stabs me often and again

Second Version

book-frame stands bedside
with you and me on both sides
burning autumn gold

glasses of our drinks
reflects the merry within
cherry trees on full bloom

wonderful times those
blissful episodes of love
chirping birds around

tear trickles on frame
stains glass over our faces
dense forest of snow

forlorn memories
of times of togetherness
wandering in dark

Stone- Hearted

~*~*~

Pattern of your intricate, etched on mine;
embossed on soft, was love imprinted.

Deep engravings with a rock or a few,
Reflected a mirage; castle of fallacy.

Springs blossoming on pillars of vain,
Flash of false struck a nerve in me…

My delusion shone, alas, for a moment!

Bedazzled n blinded, I staggered; then fell.
The ground dissolved into dust!

Changes

~*~*~

I watched, how the watch moved its hands,
about time; times now changed.
Every second offered another;
when all it seemed that that was the end.
That minute moment I’d earned then,
every minute, will stay grateful.
The hour of truth shall arrive someday…
If only I let this one pass.

I see the clock ticking today!
