Gathering pride in streaming down,
Descending dissolute; fountain-fall
directing the dust wandering bewildered,
scattering flights, scooting them homeward…

but just before those trickled to spill,
I caught those young twinkling with glee.
Brilliant white, shone drop-stones;
raindrops, those that didn’t.
