A Day, its Death; n its screaming whispers..
Spelled my liberation from the Chains of a bonding..!
Nothing short of a complete mess-
A snappy end to an abrupt beginning.
This cloud too had diamante sparkles;
Glowing my way, making me shine..
Yet again- One more time..!!

The Reason You Come

It’s sad when you have to burn bridges. But then again, if a friendship doesn’t offer you anything good anymore, then it has to end. It’s unfortunate, but, as your poem says, liberating!

Sometimes you just have to let go, and you will be reborn, like the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly.

Each friendship lost only brings you closer to the desires of your heart. Patience, my dear, for love hears your sighs carried by the night breeze, and if you please, brings an answer when it returns. Happy new friendships!

My first exposure to this kind of poem…. what a lovely form.
I wonder why the friendship had to end so quickly.
Thanks.

You said it sweetheart..
It feels better that it was around the same time that I received your gift.. That had kept me going!
Surprisingly, I am not yet damned- I may not trust everyone and do not anyways- yet, am still very open..
You have made me like that small curious girl who wants to talk to everyone..
Mwaaaah.. You are my sweet bun, the prettiest Bubble B.. 🙂 Do you imagine a nerd yapping it all in your mind- that’s me.. lolsss
I am smiling……

friendship is so often talked about in a light happy way. we all seem to block out those times when it isn’t so perfect, when we cry and hurt inside because of friendship. wonderful writing!

How often we hang on to relationships that need to be released. It is important to let go to make room for a new friendship, aka, lesson! It takes courage to say an honest “goodbye” rather than making excuses or, worse disappearing. Lots to think about in your poem…..as always. Thanks! pat

Beautiful poem…
liberation from friendship – then the friendship might be a weight on your shoulder…You seem to be happy to shed the weight..

Yes Rashmi,
Only that I didn’t realize. You know I welcomed the change as a child- only to realize later that I had made a mistake. Anytime I create an exception, this is how I am “taught”.. Apparently, it would have become weighty.. not anymore.. 🙂
